Ten - the Critical Literacy tool is here!

Welcome to 2024 and my tenth blog. Yes, ten is not many so if anyone wants to become my blogger for no pay! then I want to know you.

Seriously, this blog is exciting as I can now announce the arrival of the Critical Insights Cards for kids to use out of school and for teachers to use in school……..Here is the Insta story that explains what we did. I am thrilled with the products and can’t wait for young people to start using it. There is one for junior high and one for senior high. It can be used in English, History, Civics, any subject or with any topic that requires some closer/deeper/critical reading.

We worked with 6 Year 10 high school students from various culture and language backgrounds to make the initial designs. These were then developed further by Griffith Uni Liveworm Design students and voila! - a very professional-looking tool has emerged that is purpose-built, kid-friendly, aesthetically very pleasing, and super portable.
